Yacoba Amuah

Yacoba is a senior corporate executive with extensive experience in Customer Experience, Business Strategy, Communication, Sales, Operations Management, Business Development, and Project and Vendor Management. She has over 22 years’ experience spanning both private and public-sector organizations having had considerable exposure across various industries including Telecommunications, Banking, Advertising, Airline, International NGOs, and Information Technology.


Prior to joining Inlaks. she managed the largest headcount in Airtel Ghana as the Director of Customer Experience during which period she transformed the Outbound Call Centre from a cost center to a revenue-generating one.  She rolled out the Customer Loyalty Programme, Airtel Premier, a novelty in the Telecom Sector, leading to the attraction of new and successful retention of high-value customers. She also successfully managed the first SIM card registration project and developed processes around product life-cycle management, thus enhancing satisfaction with both internal and external customers with respect to product rollouts.


She also consulted for Women’s World Banking International where she handled customer care strategy development, business process re-engineering, and training for one of their partner banks in Malawi, Central Africa. In addition to these, she has worked with Capital Bank, Intercontinental Bank, and South African Airways among others.


As a strategic thinker, a value creator, and a change agent, she believes in challenging and building technical and sales individuals as well as developing strong team dynamics to ensure business continuity and increase customer satisfaction down the pipeline, to ensure repeat and expanded business opportunities.


Yacoba holds a First-Class Degree in BA (Secretaryship) now a Bachelor of Management Studies with a Diploma in Education (Distinction) from the University of Cape Coast, a Graduate Diploma in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana, and an MBA in Service Excellence from the University of Wales.
